| Welcome Back!
We are so happy to welcome our students and families back after winter break! January is a wonderful time for fresh starts, renewed routines, and setting goals for the months ahead. Our classrooms are once again filled with energy, learning, and smiles, and we are excited to see our students jump back into their learning. As we begin the second half of the school year together, please remember that consistency is the key to success. Making sure your student is at school on time, eating healthy meals, and going to bed at a consistent time are some of the easiest ways to support strong routines and help prepare them for a successful future. Thank you for your continued partnership—we are grateful to work alongside you!

I hope your winter break was filled with rest and joy. It has been wonderful seeing our students returning with fresh energy and excitement to jump back in to learning! The winter months can sometimes feel like a ‘climb’ for students as curriculum gets more complex. This is where perseverance comes in! We want our students to know that it is okay to struggle with a tough math problem or a tricky sentence, because that’s where the learning happens. By ensuring that they are at school consistently, you are giving them the chance to practice sticking with it alongside their teachers and peers.
Thank you for partnering with us to build resilient, dedicated learners. We are proud of the progress Shedeck students are making and can’t wait to see how much they acheive this semester! |

Save the Date! We will have our 4th annual Book Swap at Shedeck in March and are now collecting books. We are looking for new or gently used books that you no longer need and are appropriate for our PreK-3rd graders. Depending on how many we collect, students will be able to choose books to take home and keep for free during the book swap! Donated books can be sent to school with students or dropped off in the library.
Thanks in advance for your help! |
